Tiger Turns

Tiger sharks exhibit exceptional hydrodynamic performance due to their body shape and anatomical features. While they cannot swim backward, they excel at making narrow, agile, and fast turns. This capability is attributed to their wedge-shaped head, which reduces water resistance, their large dorsal fin positioned slightly towards the back for stability, their hook-shaped caudal (tail) fin that generates powerful thrust, and their flexible cartilaginous skeleton, which offers greater maneuverability compared to the rigid skeletons
