Sharks and Triggers

Many species of fish enjoy the currents because it allows them to move with less effort, cover more space while hunting, and eases the breathing process as well. In some cases, it's the current itself that carries food, plankton, or a high concentration of oxygen, which is great for their breathing. For these reasons, it's common to find several different species drifting together, such as the Grey Reef Sharks (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos) and the Redtoothed Triggerfish (Odonus niger) in the image.
